Amwaj International
Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated July 2, 2026
Amwaj International publishes this statement as a voluntary corporate-responsibility disclosure, structured to the standard of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. The group does not tolerate forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, or human trafficking anywhere in its operations or supply chain.
Our Operations & Supply Chain
The group's exposure concentrates in construction and life-support workforces, where recruitment-fee abuse and document retention are the sector's known risks. Amwaj prohibits recruitment fees charged to workers, prohibits the retention of identity documents, and pays wages directly and traceably.
Supplier Conduct & Audit
Suppliers sign the group's code of conduct as a condition of award. High-risk categories — labour supply, catering, camp services — are subject to scheduled and unannounced audits, with remediation plans tracked to closure and contract termination for unremediated breaches.
Reporting
Workers and third parties can report concerns through the whistleblowing channel, including anonymously. This statement is reviewed annually alongside the sustainability report.
