ESG

Environment

Climate, emissions, water, waste & biodiversity.

Amwaj discloses scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions with trend data, and is building the supplier programme required for credible scope 3 reporting. Water stewardship is a first-order concern for Iraqi operations: withdrawal, use, and discharge are measured across construction sites and managed communities.

Waste is tracked from generation through recycling and landfill, with hazardous streams reported separately. Major developments — the airport programme and Iraq Gate among them — carry biodiversity impact assessments with mitigation plans, and climate-related risk is reported against the TCFD framework.
